CONCENTRATION

For my AP 3D concentration I wanted to express the different elements of motifs, structure, and textures through the simple geometric shape of a square. The simple faces of a square can contain a broad range of variety of motifs with different influences of contemporary art and islamic art. Within those motifs, there's also a variety of mediums which creates different textures of the pieces. With different motifs, the medium will change, affecting the overall composition and perception of the pieces.  The structure may also fluctuate, depending on the medium and armature but overall, there's a basic sense of the geometric shape of a square. A simple square can develop into something more, something beautiful inside or out. "Less is more" and sometimes, simple is beautiful.
